Intermediate Drawing

Sorry, these pictures were taken with my cell phone camera and are therefore very crappy.

This class is a throwback to middle school and high school. Except, I wish I'd been this good in middle and high school. Ha! Well, they aren't works of art, I definitely still have room for improvement. It's a good studio class for staying loose, if nothing else.

DESIGN FESTA IN HARAJUKU

I might have a show here at the end of my semester. The whole building is beautiful but each gallery space is very small. Still, its a chance to have an opening in Tokyo! In Harajuku! What do you think?

The Japanese Cell Phone Game

I just got a sweet japanese cell phone (see hamburgerdesu for more details) with unlimited texting and e-mail. I can get e-mail from anyone, anytime, anywhere. So, why not make full use of it? I want to hear from you all, I miss you!

The game: e-mail my japanese cell phone with international love and greetings (or requests!) sometime today, or this week, or whenever! and I'll e-mail you back a sweet picture of wherever I am at the time. No charge to you or me! It's unlimited!

Trouble Shooters

For concepts, a re-design of an old video game cover. I chose Trouble Shooters, or Battle Mania in Japan, an old side-scrolling game. The original American re-design for the cover was just awful.

My hand letters didn't come out so well, and I think the poses are a little stiff. Oh, Haji in the background is a character from the game--the prince who the girls are trying to save. Awesome, right?

PIZZA FACE Project

PIZZA FACE IN KANJI LAND is the codename for the spring 2010 semester. It's going to be an adventure, and adventures need epic titles, so. I'm an egotist.

I've been running around the internet setting up mobile access for facebook, twitter and blogger. Now I can update via sms! So fun.

For now, I just want to say keep an eye out for updates to this blog. The pizzaface project will be launched officially on Jan. 6th.

Also check out my livejournal and HAMBURGERDESU.blogspot.com, a new blog for the japan trip featuring myself, Abby Boeh and Sam Gauss.
